Craft before polish. The songwriter behind the songs
Built with craft. Written from life.
BarryUMusic is the music project of Barrett “Barry” Upton, a songwriter and producer who spent much of his career in engineering before turning his focus to music.
Barry writes the lyrics, develops the song concepts, and shapes each musical direction—using modern digital and AI-assisted production tools to bring those ideas to life. The songs stay close to faith, perseverance, relationships, loss, healing, second chances, and everyday life.
